About Shelly Najjar

I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to help busy women develop a healthy relationship with food, so they can end the food struggle and get peace with themselves and their bodies at any size.

I'm a Nutrition Mindset Coach with thousands of hours of training and experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, with a Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition.

Today, I enjoy guilt-free food freedom resulting in better health, but I didn't used to know this was possible.

My first job as a dietitian was in a public hospital, where I saw many patients who were beyond the point of effective treatment. It crushed me that they were abandoning their dreams due to preventable conditions.

On top of that, nutrition recommendations are often restrictive and shame-based. Even if we want to be healthy, food rules hold us back from truly living. They don't support us in feeling better, but only cause us to be irritable, stressed, and more overwhelmed. My existing education hadn't prepared me to help people transform their health in a lasting way.

Then I learned the paradox that health is more attainable with fewer food restrictions. This changed my own way of thinking and eating, and my clients also had more success. Since then, I use a non-diet, intuitive eating approach to help many women improve their health with NO off-limits foods.
